Duties: Liaise with customers for all aspects of drilling fluids engineering, materials
supply. Support and supervise all engineering operations. Coordinate 3 warehousing
operations (Tripoli & Benghazi for on shore and Zarzis, Tunisia for off shore).
Prepare mud and completion programs as required by operators including discussing
and planning for most efficient, safe and economic operation. Prepare complete Final
well reports.
Mud engineer - AVA Tunisia
Oversee and implement on a daily basis, in coordination with drilling operations,
efficient use of drilling fluids - some 5 different systems are required for drilling each
well. Also responsible for the application of new products and technologies for more
efficient operations including all necessary testing, reporting both daily and for Final
Well Reports.
Laboratory engineer - AVA Tunisia
My experience as laboratory engineer during my first year within AVA Company has
helped me to work closely with our laboratory on technical and fluid formulation
requirements. I am familiar with any of the following equipments: High Temperature,
High Pressure (HTHP) Viscometer Fann equipments, Malvern Mastersizer and Cilas
Particle size analyzers, OFITE and Fann Viscometers, HTHP Filter Press (HTHP),
API Filter Press, Funnel Viscosity, Bulk Hardness Testers, Centrifuges, Hygrometers,
pH meters, emulsion tester.
